Remember the Basics


When preparing for a possible emergency situation, it’s best to think first about the basics of survival: fresh water, food, clean air and warmth.

Water & Food

Find out how to store and prepare for at least three days of survival. Plan on one gallon of water per day per person.

Clean Air

Create a barrier between yourself and airborne contamination. Learn how to improvise with what you have on hand to protect your mouth, nose, eyes and cuts in your skin.

Supply Checklists

Assemble clothing & bedding, tools and other basic supplies.

Special Needs Items

Lists for those with special needs - babies, adults, seniors and people with disabilities.
